The Grundy County Chamber is looking for a new membership director and hopes to fill this position as soon as possible.
This position is in charge of both recruitment of new members and retention, as well as running our member service and member growth programs.
We all knew and loved our previous membership director, Sam Yeager-Walrath, but she had to move out of the area, so the job has officially been posted. You can find the specific job description and duties online at www.grundychamber.com.
If you’re an outgoing person who not only enjoys people, but the idea of helping our local businesses grow,
the Chamber life might be one for
you to consider.
The position is a sales job recruiting new members to the Chamber, as well as selling marketing opportunities we provide in the community, such as the downtown banner programs.
The job requires someone who likes to be out in the community rather than stuck behind a desk.
Don’t hesitate to call or email me if you have questions or would like to apply.
The Chamber team is eager to welcome our next member.
For information call 815-942-0113

Last chance to register – Minooka State of the Village address
We had a great turnout for the Channahon State of the Village Address earlier this month and are looking forward to our next State of the Village Address, a luncheon with Minooka Mayor Pat Brennan at
11:30 a.m. April 4 in the Community Room of Minooka Village Hall, 121 McEvilly Road, Minooka.
The luncheon is $30 to attend and registration for the event is required in advance through the Chamber.
Whether you live in Minooka, or do business in the area, attending Mayor Brennan’s address will arm you with the latest information on the village’s completed and upcoming projects, its housing market, potential new businesses, as well as the community events being geared up for the summer.
As all of our Chamber events, the address serves as a great networking opportunity for your business or organization, so bring lots of business cards.
To register for the village addresses, visit www.grundychamber.com or call 815-942-0113.
