Morris Theatre Guild hosting annual member meeting

MORRIS – All Morris Theatre Guild members and supporters are invited to attend the annual general membership meeting and open house at 7 p.m. Thursday at the MTG theater located at
516 W. Illinois Ave., Morris.

There will be an opportunity to learn about the 2018-19 season of plays, see the new carpet and lights and to learn about planned upgrades.

Anyone who would like to learn more about membership and the Morris Theatre Guild Inc. also is welcome to attend and invited to join. Membership dues are $10 a year for those aged 18 and younger and students, $20 a year for adults. Family memberships are $35.

Elections will be held for the board of directors. Attendees also can join the guild or renew memberships, and buy season tickets at this meeting or online for $45.

Refreshments will be served.

Guests also will get a sneak peek at the set for the first play of the 2018-19 season, “Passengers,” written by Sam Bobrick, produced through Samuel French, and directed by Bill Griffith.
